News

The Columbus Roadrunners Club very own Rita Barnes is one of the most prolific runners in the country. Rita does numerous ultra-marathons every year, will likely be the first women to have finished the Mohican 100 Mile Trail Run 10 times, ran across the state of Tenessee, has been accepted into the Badwater Ultra-Marathon (considered one of the most grueling events in the world...P.S. our own Jeff Schmidt is also running Badwater this year), and is now doing it again. Rita is planning to run the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincy, then run from Cincy to Cleveland, where the Cleveland Marathon is being held the following weekend. Keep in touch with Rita's new adventure in our Message Board!
