General

The Columbus Roadrunners Club (CRRC) is a non-profit organization with the purpose of promoting and encouraging running at all levels. Founded in 1975, the Club is the oldest and largest club in central Ohio. It is a member of the Roadrunners Club of America (RRCA). CRRC members participate as runners, volunteers, and planners in a variety of events throughout the year. Benefits of membership include club-sponsored races, a regularly published newsletter and special events for fun and relaxation.

Board Meetings

As a non-profit organization, the Columbus Roadrunners Club is overseen by a Board of Trustees. In addition to our Board officers, we have several at-large board members that help with various responsibilities. Board meetings are typically the second Thursday of each month. However, due to scheduling conflicts or board member availability meetings may be rescheduled to a different date if necessary. Meetings are usually held at the Panera Bread located at 4519 North High Street (Clintonville area) at 7:30pm. Meetings are open to all club members. If you would like to attend a board meeting please contact us in advance to verify the date and location of the next meeting.

Election of Board Members

All club members are encouraged to be active in the club and to help provide leadership and oversight. One of the most effective ways to do this is to serve on the board. Members that wish to be serve on the board must submit their name prior to our annual banquet which is where board elections take place.
